Wolvercote
A detached 1950’s ‘A’ frame house had a first floor rear sitting room giving onto a small timber balcony with a view of Wytham Woods. The owners wanted a ground rear floor garden room as well as an enlarged balcony over to enjoy the view in summer. The planners restricted the width of the balcony. The owners’ vision was achieved with a certified hardwood access stairway, balcony balustrade and decking built around a largely glazed ground floor room overlooking the garden.
