North Oxford

A large detached Victorian house in the North Oxford conservation is used as a language school. Consent was achieved for a large side extension for teaching and admin accommodation and a garden conservatory for a student social space.

The basement accommodation was challenging as an undergound stream was found to be flowing across the site and a pumped tanking system was needed to waterporoof the basement.
