North Oxford

A 1920’s detached house situated in the North Oxford Conservation Area was in need of modernising functionally and aesthetically. The house was completely refurbished, with a contemporary extension constructed at the rear of the property. Partition walls on the ground and first floors were removed and modified to create suitable spaces including new bathrooms. Parquet floors were re-instated and extended. The stairwell was opened up and new enlarged windows installed to the rear garden with gables over at first floor to allow much needed height to the beroom outlooks. The new kitchen is open ppan in the ground floor extension living area, allowing spectacular views of the newly landscaped garden, with a solar heating system also installed to provide hot water.
